Jamal Nazrul Islam was born in 24 February 1939 at Jhenaidah, Bangladesh. He was a mathematical physicist and cosmologist. His father name was Khan Bahadur Sirajul Islam and his father was a sub- judge of British India. Due to his father's job, Islam spent his early school years in Kolkata. He studied at Chittagong Collegiate School until class nine and then went to Lawrence College, Murreein, West Pakistan to pass the senior Cambridge and Higher senior Cambridge exam.
